North County Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy is absolutely a unique and boutique therapy clinic.  We make sure every experience in the clinic is tailored, specific to what you need and overall makes you feel like you are headed in the right direction.  We know how typical physical therapy offices work and how production is a key component to the success of those clinics.  A lot of times patients get lost in the shuffle and they need more than mediocre care.  It's different here.  You get one on one, undivided treatment with the physical therapist. We have high expectations of our patients and vice versa; we are all accountable for the progress and outcomes our patients achieve.

Dr. Jennifer Rodriguez, PT, DPT is a graduate of St. Augustine University and finished the doctoral of physical therapy program in 2012.  Since then she has primarily practiced in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine.  This is her expertise and this is what she loves to do.  She is also certified through Functional Movement Systems and utilizes SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment) in clinical diagnostics.

Other professional certifications: STMT-1 (Soft tissue manual tool)

"Human movement is such a great evolution within our environment and when we are not physically functioning at optimal levels the effects are profound.  Too often people do not get personalized, comprehensive and well thought out care in the presence of injury or dysfunction.  The changes that our bodies make and the response mechanisms that occur after injury can be viewed either as phenomenal or detrimental."
